Revitalizing Our Waterfront

Improvements to our waterfront parks and rehabilitating once vacant brownfields and industrial sites have made NT the premier waterfront destination in WNY

Helping our Cultural Institutions

NT is home to the famous Herschel Carousel Museum . The tireless dedication of hundreds of volunteers revitalized this once vacant building into the destination it is today. That is why when they came toNiagara County for help with funding to create Kiddeland, the Learning Annex and the Music Room, Rich did not hesitate to help. He championed their cause and helped their dream become a reality.

Riviera Theater

There is no doubt, that downtown NT has become a premier destination for great restaurants and entertainment. The Riviera Theater is the crucial piece that makes the area a true year round destination. When the long planned expansion stalled, the Riviera Board reached out to Rich and the Niagara County Legislature for a grant to kickstart their efforts. Rich and his colleagues secured crucial funds through the Greenway Funds to get this project off the ground. Today the Riviera's success is a testament to the faith Rich and his colleagues had in the project.

The Niagara County Facade Program

The Niagara County Facade Program was one of the most successful  grant programs to come out of the COVID era anywhere in WNY. Niagara County leveraged $8 Million of the county's share of COVID Relief funding from the federal dollars and helped small businesses rebound after the pandemic. Over 200 businesses including over 90 here in NT were helped through this program and it led to over $16 million dollars being invested in the local economy.

From Small Business to Big Business

Through Rich's position as Chair of the Niagara County Economic Development Committee, Niagara County has witnessed great success in recruiting and retaining businesses here in Niagara County.

Niagara County lands Amazon

When Amazon and Erie County couldn't reach a deal, Rich directed his team at Niagara County Economic Development to go after Amazon. After making a great competitive presentation, Niagara County was chosen and  soon one of the world's largest warehouses will open in Niagara County and will provide jobs  and benefits for more than 1,000 people.
